Day 1 to Day 5 and Day 6-13

DAY 1 TO DAY 5

This is the period whereby your pituitary gland stimulate your 10 to 15 maturing eggs. I have to tell myself "It is a fresh beginning and a beautiful month!"

Advice for Damp type

I feel that my body is the damp type so I need to exercise to oxygenate my body.

It is best that I avoid raw food, cold food, processed food, excess salt, too much soya, bananas, peanuts, oily nuts, cow's milk, ice-cream. Do not drink too much water with food.

I have to eat more barley, anchovy, button mushrooms, celery, corn, garlic, jasmine tea, lemon, mackerel, onion, parsley, pumpkin, radish, turnip.

Advice for Heat type

I also think that my body is the heaty type.

I am supposed to not exercise during Day 1 to 5 (this is in conflict with damp! So which one should I follow?) I can drink peppermint tea.

I should avoid caffeine. Oops I love my strong coffee. Raw food is good for people who are heaty! Huh? This is in conflict with damp again!

I should eat more fruits, duck, eggs, pineapple, peas, pork (damp should avoid pork), watermelon, tomatoes, shellfish, sesame seeds, pears, lemons, tofu.

DAY 6 - DAY 13

This is the follicular phase. Nourishing blood is very important. Keep calm. Practise meditation. Relax. Use visualisation to correct any irregularities. Stretch your body. Have a lot of sex.

Avoid antihistamines, alcohol, caffeine, air-conditioning, anywhere that is overheated, too much time on computer (oops what am I doing now) and spicy food. Because these are the things that would decrease my body fluids.

Take a break from conceiving and start enjoying sex! Try massaging each other! If you are taking supplements, royal jelly, honey, sesame seeds and all oily fish are good.

To nourish blood, eat more apples, black sesame seeds, blackcurrents, carrots, cherries, dates, duck (damp should avoid), eggs, honey, meat, oats, pear, pork, dark leafy greens, sweet potato, tofu, watermelon (not for cold), yam

For Damp type
Go out for nice walks, yoga or pilates.
Keep food light and no junk food. Too much fluid pre ovulation is not good. Massage abdomen daily.

For Heat type
Try cool wet visualisations like waterfall. Mediate, Relax. Stay hydrated. Sip but do not gulp.

Stay positive and confess positive things aloud - I produce fertile mucus and sperm and egg can move freely. I enjoy sex with my husband. I put aside time to enjoy being with my husband. My body makes sufficient blood to nourish my follicles and endometrium. I am relax and HAPPY!

  2. It makes me feel so warm that I know people have been keeping track on my blog because I used to keep track on people's blog and you know why, because I was so desperate to know if there was a happy ending. My favourite one was Recurrent Chemical Pregnancies(located under my fav blog list) because after the author's long tiring winding journey, she has a few kids in the end...
